Modern and Proven
Teaching Framework
LNN’s chosen philosophy and developmental theory is the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the UK National Curriculum.
We work with children on a one-to-one basis, giving them the opportunity
to bring out their best selves in a safe, nurturing and challenging environment
Pedagogy Framework
Early year foundation stage fits with our vision and mission and the
framework’s pedagogy is focused around helping children to learn

Every child is unique
Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children are powerful learners. Every child can make progress in their learning, with the right help.
Positive relationships
Children’s learning is helped when they feel safe and secure and when their parents and the team at Little Nest Nursery work together to ensure that the child’s needs are met. This ensures the children grow to be strong and independent.
Enabling environment
Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is strong partnership between practitioners and parents. Little Nest Nursery offers enabling environments of high-quality play, both indoors and outdoor.
Learning & development
Children develop and learn in different ways. The EYFS framework covers the education and care of all children in early provision, including children with special educational needs and disabilities.
